From flowers to frogs

June has been a month of lessening coughing; continuing car sagas; and the enjoyment and intense beginning of a new special interest - knitting mini animal doll puppet things.

1. Went out for a meal and the table was so deep and the chairs so comfy and deep we felt a long way from each other. It was rather funny.

   

2. I love it when succulents flower.

   

3. My husband and youngest (now 25, which is just ridiculous) belong to a chess team and the team won this trophy. The earliest tag is 1928. Taken on my phone and it wasn’t focusing properly.

   

4. My messy work station, I tend to sit on the sofa so I can see the beautiful view from the window. It gets a bit messy and I try to tidy it up before bed, but I’m often too tired to do so.

   

5. This is my ¿ingenious? way of working out which places to submit my work too - having finally decided to say yah boo sucks to imposter syndrome and give it a go. Lucy at rumblewrites produced this list last month and I just decided to work through it. I’ve not had any response yet bu that’s normal as non e of the deadline for responses are up.

   

6. These needles are tiny 2mm and the stitches tiny, it’s a good job I hens stronger glasses as I couldn’t see them before.

   

7. This is the marvellous view from the lads cricket ground. Aren’t we lucky? Hubby and boy.

9. So I cheated a bit here, I couldn’t decide which Froggy pic was best. So these are a few in various outfits and poses. Sadly his armature wasn’t strong enough and some reworking is needed, and so we are at the point of the ‘torso’ photo at the moment just waiting for supplies.

   

   

   

10. I didn’t take this pic, it’s one of Rs lovely selfies, but it does sum up the personality of Merlin the blue merle border collie and shows the views we are so lucky to have locally.
