(I have been using patterns by Claire Garland from Dot Pebbles Knit for most of these little animals. She has a fab Instagram account. Shoes are sadly not made by me but from various sellers on Etsy.)
Dear Red Cabbage Heads,
I do still have many frog legs and arms to make and I will slowly get round to it. I need to find a way to not set my PDA off and also allow my ADHD to explore other patterns. So I finished Foxy, made a penguin and a fallow deer fawn.
We have said goodbye to a few old friends and welcomed others albeit briefly for some.
After a long time have cold nether regions Foxy finally looked at me in such a mournful way that I gave in and made him some trousers. I actually find the teeny stitches needed very relaxing to do, when I’m not stabbing my self with the needle that is. Then he was offered a home in Northumberland near the beach and I am sure will be having many wonderful adventures.

Then I finished one of the froglets and made a whimsical dress for her with fairy wings. She was quickly snapped up and is going to live in the south of the UK.

Chilli and Pepper have also been snapped up and are going to live in Canada.
i really should then have made frog legs but instead decided to tease with the making of ‘something’, one of my readers called this a birthing process. Guesses ranged from a lizard to a sloth to a ferret. I did end up having to completely redo this as a skipped a page of pattern accidentally and ended up with a very weird creature.
I did finish it and as usual am not happy with the legs. I’m not sure if this is lack of skill on my part or misunderstanding of the pattern, or just not my style of pattern.

A fallow deer fawn. She is quite cute I think.
Froglets🐸, other animals🐇🦊🦡🐭🐘🦏🦎🦥🦧etc, and other miniatures are (or will be) available in my Etsy store A Midnight Emporium. They are considered collectibles, are unsuitable for under 14s due to the wires, are not CE/UKCA tested (collectibles do not need to be), and are therefore priced as such. Or contact me here if you fancy something you see but I haven’t put in my shop. I do have ME/CFS and photographing and listing them all takes a lot of energy and is a very slow process. I do occasionally knit to order too, but be aware a froglet with a jumper takes around 3 to 4 days for me to make on average. The smaller they are the longer they take as they are more intricate and fiddly. Thank you muchly.
That’s all for today, Tx
If you have enjoyed my ramblings I’d love for you to click the ❤️. It pleases the social algorithm, lets others know there’s something interesting here, as well as letting me know you liked it and giving me a little virtual hug. Without virtual hugs I have been know to get sad 😜. Shares are good too and a comment buoys me up even more 😁 A comment of what you liked, what you didn’t etc would be most gratefully appreciated.
The deer is so cute!
You are so clever and they are so cute.
