Dear readers,
Poetry for you, at last, though you will need to click the link. My poem.
On Instagram a call was put out for pattern poetry by Worktown Works to be edited by
. (Admission, I vaguely ‘know’ Lisa, in that I follow her work and occasionally comment on it - that’s all.) I sent in 3 poems and this one was picked. It now out online and is accompanied by many wonderful poems.I think however, I’m going to start truncating my name, to T. Chennell. Out of the 3 places where I’ve been published so far (I’m waiting to see the rest) 2 have spelt my name wrong, despite it being correct in all the correspondence and proofs. So be aware ‘Tasmin’ and ‘Tamsin’ Chennell are one and the same.
So that’s all folks, til next time….
If you have enjoyed my ramblings I’d love for you to click the ❤️. It pleases the social algorithm, lets others know there’s something interesting here, as well as letting me know you liked it and giving me a little virtual hug. Without virtual hugs I have been know to get sad 😜. Shares are good too and a comment buoys me up even more 😁 A comment of what you liked, what you didn’t etc would be most gratefully appreciated.
Omg, I didn't know pattern poetry was a thing. That's so cool. My very first substack was called "Crochet Poetry" And I thought I was being so unique. Reading your poem eases something in me. I loved it!
Oof. That poem is gorgeous.
