(I have been using patterns by Claire Garland from Dot Pebbles Knit for most of these little animals. She has a fab Instagram account. Shoes are sadly not made by me but from various sellers on Etsy.)
Dear Red Cabbage Heads,
I got a lovely puzzle for Christmas. The rabbits were decidedly curious.
They opened it up without even asking - gasp, shock, horror. They even took off those heavy coats to go exploring.
Little rabbit dived in without taking her shoes off.
After asking me what a puzzle was, and how to make it up, Bernard and Delores began searching for edge pieces….
…whilst Little Rabbit dove straight back into the not straight pieces pile as if it were a ball pit.
Hmm, having sorted through all 1000 pieces only 3 corner pieces have been found, Bernard is confounded and aghast at having to sort through all 1000 pieces again.
whereas Delores is already putting pieces together.
Argh, more edge pieces missing, will the sorting never end?
All edge pieces found and placed, time for a well earned rest.
Darn it, the cats sat on the mat and Bernard has had to get the sticky roller out onto it. His help was most appreciated.
It had been a while since I ventured into the room, and the rabbits have been waiting for me their consternation obvious for all to see.
They got so bored waiting and invited Mouse and Dormouse to come play cards. Bernard organised the drinks whilst Delores made up the rules.
But I still didn’t come, so they went to bed. Shoes off luckily for me.
Ah, well, I’m not sure puzzles are my thing, too much brain power needed. Till next time peeps, Tx
Froglets🐸, other animals🐇🦊🦡🐭🐘🦏🦎🦥🦧etc, and other miniatures are (or will be) available in my Etsy store A Midnight Emporium. They are considered collectibles, are unsuitable for under 14s due to the wires, are not CE/UKCA tested (collectibles do not need to be), and are therefore priced as such. Or contact me here if you fancy something you see but I haven’t put in my shop. I do have ME/CFS and photographing and listing them all takes a lot of energy and is a very slow process. I do occasionally knit to order too, but be aware a froglet with a jumper takes around 3 to 4 days for me to make on average. The smaller they are the longer they take as they are more intricate and fiddly. Thank you muchly.
That’s all for today, Tx
If you have enjoyed my ramblings I’d love for you to click the ❤️. It pleases the social algorithm, lets others know there’s something interesting here, as well as letting me know you liked it and giving me a little virtual hug. Without virtual hugs I have been know to get sad 😜. Shares are good too and a comment buoys me up even more 😁 A comment of what you liked, what you didn’t etc would be most gratefully appreciated.
Your little friends are adorable!
I like the thought of a jigsaw but not the effort and brain power needed to complete it. This is another fabulous tale though, I love it!!
