Photos of February 2024
Not much energy photos, not been able to get out photos, the smallness of my life photos.
February has been a very slow month, I’ve struggled to recover after my trip out to a concert. It’s been a month now and I’m still very much not well. Some very rigorous recuperation is needed. Rest, rest, and rest some more. So the photos are a little ‘less’ than I wanted.
The edge of my new tea cup. I really love the speckledy shades. It’s a great cup for drinking out of. I run my fingers up its ridges comfortingly.
New growth springing from an old leaf in a pot on the window sill. A Jade tree I think.
Morning light coming into the bedroom. I don’t like these curtains, they came with the house when we bought it, but they do filter the light nicely.
Patterns. Gosh I love patterns and textures. R drove me to 5 Locks at Bingley so minimal waking required. It was bright but cold. Railing shadows across four different textures.
I don’t often take pics of this view. It is neglected by me, half way up or down the stairs I normally pass on by.
Chess club has been lacking in oddments this month, just these two Xmas tree ornaments left over, never packed away, like a broken clock they will have their time again, they will be right in the right season.
A photo of a picture I made many, many years ago. Framed by my mother before I had a chance to finish it. I was a bit miffed at the time that she a) hadn’t asked and b) been through my art work without my know.edge and c) not given me the chance to finish it.
