Hello you all,
April has been a, hmm, how shall I put this … fucker of a month. Not masses of photos taken.
Young Madeline was finished and went to her new home. She is very much a bibliophile.
This strange occurrence was discovered - no one yet has guessed what was going on, but hey, it makes an interesting picture
Then the world went pear shaped and R was admitted to hospital. This has rocked both our worlds. He’s on the mend now thankfully. I’m not going into details on here but I have been cataloguing his bruising from a procedure and in a way it’s rather beautiful and artistic.
This brought us both near to tears. R contacted Leeds Rhinos Rugby League club where we hold season tickets to say they could resell our tickets for the couple of games if they could as we couldn’t attend for a while and we got this in the post.
The bathroom art exhibition got a two new exhibits this month. I bought this brush, a Chinese calligraphy brush, for the middle child for Xmas either last year or the one before, it was in this house though. Here it is having been used. No idea where the other bits came from.
These 3 have been plotting something. Every time I leave my iPad unattended they are caught scrolling through various sites. I’m not quite sure what they are up too but will keep you informed.
The clematis is bursting with buds nearly ready to come out and the dandelions (encouraged in this garden) are already feeding bees.
Our yearly walk in the bluebell woods near us. It’s never possible to show the utmost beauty of this place. Middle child and R in the photos.
Yay I hit 1/2 on the year target of 100 poems.
And lastly, Toad. Oh Toad! Such a tetchy
sodsoul. He was one of the first decent frogs I made, but it was an old pattern and he needed hip replacements. So I removed all his limbs and made him new ones. He was very demanding. It always amazes me how different their personalities are. He is grumpy and irascible. So that’s it for April. Somehow the earth continues to turn and time passes by at its usual reckless pace, it will soon be time to post again.
Till then, T x
If you have enjoyed my ramblings I’d love for you to click the ❤️. It pleases the social algorithm, lets others know there’s something interesting here, as well as letting me know you liked it and giving me a little virtual hug. Without virtual hugs I have been know to get sad 😜. Shares are good too and a comment buoys me up even more 😁 A comment of what you liked, what you didn’t etc would be most gratefully appreciated.
Hehe I think they all went for a swim!
Fab photos Tamsin!!
