After forgetting to do a July photos things all go a bit behind and muddles. So six weeks for July/August was my previous offering and and this is 6 weeks for August/September.
These first 3 are pics I took wondering around a holiday cottage inbetween gaps in the rain showers. I quite like this one.

It’s only taken 34 years for MIL to accept that I kept my maiden name when I got married, despite telling her very often and having to get her to rewrite cheques so I can cash them, and even then I know my niece was there helping her get organised with cards so imagine that there was a little bit of persuasion involved.
On the knitted animals front the rabbits discovered a baby rabbit in the pumpkin patch. Oh my, how amazing!
The middle child (28) took me off to a pottery painting place and this is the inside of my pre fired bowl.

I’m actually really enjoying watching the changing colours of the hydrangea- so many shades of pinky brown.
This happened, and much as I don’t really ‘do’ likes etc, I sort of do as well and thanks to a very generous restack by
of a comment I made I was catapulted from 99 to over 120 free subscribers and got my first paid subscriber.
In doing some research for an upcoming article, if it ever sees the light of day, I spent a happy hour looking at old photos. My eldest was born before digital photography so not everything is on my computer but I had previously scanned a few in. Ah, the days of youth (I’m 28 here), skinniness (though of course I thought I was fat having not quite lost every ounce of pregnancy weight and having gone up a dress size as my body shaped changed), and health.
September is my birthday month and we spent it away for two days. Below the pics of my pressies.
So that’s it for these 6 weeks. Let’s see what the next month brings.
