Hello you all,
And are looking forward to the new year to come. It’s been a busy month here, taken slowly.
Ive been enjoying hunkering down and wintering. I don’t think January is a good time to be thinking about renewal so I’m enjoying this quiet time in nature, time to contemplate. Here is a pic of Merlin doing the same, taking a moment to enjoy the winter sun.
Snow descended in the first week and for once stayed for quite a while. I quite enjoyed it as opposed to the constant rain we have had at times.
My only ‘resolution’ to myself this year was to not push myself too hard. So my many froglets are going to be worked on one a week. They will all be finished by the end of the year. Week 1
and week 2 and 3
and week 4 still in progress as I need to make clothes but am still deciding what suits this one best.
And then my adult middle child acquired this one from me.
There has been some splendid light this month. I feel you will know all my house soon 😁
We’ve had a lot of fog recently.
This months art installation in the bathroom, is some kind of clay slurry.
We went to Leeds Rhinos accessibility meeting last week, and got a back ‘stage’ tour of the dressing rooms and tunnel. This is the mascot each team member touches on their way out to matches, apparently. Anyway R was forced by me to touch it too for a photo as I’m short this month. You can see he’s really not impressed😜 - he is really.
The errant boot turned up, see froglets above.
We finally got the new wheelchair back and electrified and took it out for a spin, this hill in particular was a tad scary and R tried it out as I’d wimped out by this point and was walking.
So that’s it for January. The earth continues to turn and time passes by at its usual reckless pace, it will be two shakes of those lambs tails I will hopefully see next month before it’s time to post again.
Till then, T x
If you have enjoyed my ramblings I’d love for you to click the ❤️. It pleases the social algorithm, lets others know there’s something interesting here, as well as letting me know you liked it and giving me a little virtual hug. Without virtual hugs I have been know to get sad 😜. Shares are good too and a comment buoys me up even more 😁 A comment of what you liked, what you didn’t etc would be most gratefully appreciated.
