Hello you all,
I finished Blossom frog, and after a quick photo session in the garden, she set off on her journey to her new home.
Rugby threw up some good pics this month. I loved the colourful pink kit of Catleford, the touch one colour, and got distracted by my blanket.
We took a trip to Filey. It was a stunning day, but have to say the accessible path wasn’t really up scratch.
We were invited to next doors for coffee so I baked for the first time in blooming ages, possibly years. Gluten free lemon drizzle cake. It was surprisingly delicious.
Then we had a very belated pancake day and again, gluten free pancakes. Tasted fab and looked good too.
The art installation in the bathroom has had an addition. It’s been a while since the last one.
Yohan, Darcey, and Trevor were the other frogs from this month. I experimented with a kilt, making tiny kilt pins and a sporran. Then Darcey was a ballerina abs Trevor a bit of a goth.
I also decided to try to knit a jumper for myself. Sometimes the arthritis in my fingers makes small work hard, so bigger needles help to keep my hands mobile without being as frustrating - though it still took me 3 attempts to start this collar (circular needles are not my forte - I’m not sure what is to be honest, I seem to be a jack of all trades but a master of none.
These are my Feegle feet socks - iykyk. On the wrong feet making them look extra odd and my toes very, very, very pointy!
We took a wander into Bradford to visit Waterstones to look at the architecture.
So that’s it for March. The earth continues to turn and time passes by at its usual reckless pace, it will soon be time to post again.
Till then, T x
If you have enjoyed my ramblings I’d love for you to click the ❤️. It pleases the social algorithm, lets others know there’s something interesting here, as well as letting me know you liked it and giving me a little virtual hug. Without virtual hugs I have been know to get sad 😜. Shares are good too and a comment buoys me up even more 😁 A comment of what you liked, what you didn’t etc would be most gratefully appreciated.
What a lovely month in photos! Good luck on the jumper, the colours look gorgeous!!
I love it all and now I’m craving some lemon drizzle cake! Where’s my cookbook….🤗🥰
