Happy Hallowe’en Y’All

(I have been using patterns by Claire Garland from Dot Pebbles Knit for most of these little animals. She has a fab Instagram account. Shoes are sadly not made by me but from various sellers on Etsy and I may be trying to learn how to do it myself eventually. Anyway enough of the preamble.)
Dear Spooky Knitting Cabbage Heads,
It is All Hallows Eve and spooky fills the air. And the tribe have been busy getting ready.
Firstly, Badger and Matilda Mouse moved in some drying sunflower heads to begin setting the scene.
Ronnie and Ellie, being the ones with the biggest muscles moved in the table.
Guinea Pig and Dormouse brought the pumpkins.
Fox and Badger brought the potion bottles
Ook oversaw the proceedings, being very good at pointing and directing the minions!
Parsely and Cinnamon brought the cauldron.
Newt organised the potions on the table
And then after everyone chipped in with more decorations and organising the ceremony could begin. Everyone gathered to watch whilst Chilli stirred the cauldron, adding ingredients as needed, Thyme checked the recipe in the spell book, and Nutmeg raised the incantation.

Afterwards the Rabbits posed for a few pictures before helping to clear up and head home.

And that’s all for now. I hope your day is filled with pumpkin joy! So I’m signing off for now, till next time. If you have any suggestions for photo opportunities for the tribe, or any ideas for other animals you’d like to see, or names for the as yet unnamed, let me know below. I do post updates on Notes more regularly if you want more knitted content.
If you have enjoyed my ramblings I’d love for you to click the ❤️. It pleases the social algorithm, lets others know there’s something interesting here, as well as letting me know you liked it and giving me a little virtual hug. Without virtual hugs I have been know to get sad 😜. Shares are good too and a comment buoys me up even more 😁 A comment of what you liked, what you didn’t etc would be most gratefully appreciated.
You've filled my life with joy!
Ok you know I’m partial to all the frogs … but Ook has stolen my heart! I need someone like him to come watch over all my proceedings. Force me to rest like I’m supposed to!
