Something a Little Different - Smallstacks Seed Pod Post - Libraries
A bookish adventure
Quick house keeping note - if you are here for poetry only you can set up what you receive by clicking on the relevant sections only. This post will go into the ‘Art Makes’ section. Deselect that section and you won’t get these posts. Visa versa don’t want poetry, deselect that section.
The following post is part of a Seed Pod collaboration about libraries. Seed Pods are a SmallStack community project designed to help smaller publications lift each other up by publishing and cross-promoting around a common theme. We’re helping each other plant the seeds for growth!

Dear knitting people, and SmallStack people,
(I have been using patterns by Claire Garland from Dot Pebbles Knit) for most of these little animals. She has a fab Instagram account.)
So the tribe have been on a jaunt to the library overseen by its librarian ‘Ook’. Here he is purveying the view from above where he was cataloguing 1st editions.
Pointing out some classics to Brown rabbit.
He’s not quite sure though, maybe a Wilkie Collins or a more recent Iain Banks. What shall it be?
Delores, Frog, and Badger are having a coffee meeting about what to put on the list for novels to be considered for the next book club dates.
Toad though, is more into gardening and botany and has found a book he will be checking out later. He loves the illustrations.
Ook rather likes visitors but is quite protective of his charges, the books. He’s not happy about coffee being quite so close to absorbent paper so is keeping a close eye.
And that’s that for today.
So that’s me signing off for now, till next time. If you have any suggestions for photo opportunities for the tribe, or any ideas for other animals you’d like to see let me know below. I do post updates on Notes more regularly if you want more regular updates.
If you have enjoyed my ramblings I’d love for you to click the ❤️. It pleases the social algorithm, lets others know there’s something interesting here, as well as letting me know you liked it and giving me a little virtual hug. Without virtual hugs I have been know to get sad 😜. Shares are good too and a comment buoys me up even more 😁 A comment of what you liked, what you didn’t etc would be most gratefully appreciated.
Tam, this is definitely the most adorable Seed Pod post I've seen so far! 😍
Tam, this is incredible! What joyful little souls you have created, and with a Terry Pratchett backdrop no less.
