and the amazing photos he posts, I’ve decided to do my own, all homage to people who take better photos than me. So 10 photos I took in January 2024, no cheating involved much as I fancied it as I’ve not got 10 good ones, cos I only just decided I was doing this. So 10.

1. The blanket I crocheted for myself. It’s proper alpaca wool and is so soft, and quite heavy because I like my blankets weighty. Lots of 3D crochet of various flowers.

   

2. I am choosing colours for a couple of walls, and had the wonderful idea of painting on lining paper rather than painting many patches on the walls, this is most of them. And Cecily guarding them.

   

3. I really like light. Soft light. Snapped this quickly of my phone in the morning. The teddy bear is Cyclops (once he had just one eye) he was given to me when I was just a few weeks old, hand made by my Grandma. He is 57 years old and despite a few repairs still going strong - minus the eyes.

   

4. I found this weird fish shaped snack? on a chair at Chess club. I’m collecting images now of thing found at Chess club.

   

5. More light, though I wasn’t feeling good at this point so took a picture out of the window and then zoomed in. So a tad fuzzy. Will do better next time.

10. Driving back through Manchester and this shop front caught my eye.

    

    And there we are 10 reasonable photos for January. I will get out the better camera and try harder for February.
