It is so frustrating that you cannot sell (and therefore buy) wheelchairs and disability aids on Facebook, so many people need these aids and are unable to afford the exorbitant prices that new ones cost. I would happily purchase 2nd hand it is just trying to find the place to buy from! I am glad you were able to give this lady the independence she needed
It is possible to circumnavigate the system especially with power chairs where people seem to put the brand only, but it’s ridiculous that it’s not allowed and you have to do mind games to get round it.
I agree with what you say about not being able to sell wheelchairs on marketplace. We had an unused, in the box wheelchair when Mum passed and we couldn't sell it! I'm glad you found a way to pass yours on to someone who needed it.

It’s awful isn’t it. I managed to get it on a local group directly and thereby avoided marketplace. But it’s discrimination.
