Very relatable. It’s amazing how the subtle differences in colors carry so much weight when picking a paint color!
This reminds me of Mary O'Neill's Hailstones and Halibut Bones, a whole book of poems celebrating color. It's a children's book and probably not in print, but I loved it when I was a kid (and still do). You might, too.

I have rather a large collection of tester pots now. I should really try to create some art with them or something.
