‘These images are yours not mine

I have no concept of them

No need, no inspiration, nor any motivation

To write of what I do not know’

Thank you for this insight 💛

Hi Yoshiko, I did indeed translate it, thank you for your lovely comment. Pictoral languages (I believe they are called kanja) fascinate me. As a dyslexic I’m not sure how well I would ever do at learning it or whether it might be easier. This one is visually pretty 鳥 (google translate say bird) and this one の drew my eye due to its curly flow (of apparently).

So, awesome!

This poem is such a burn on not only the assignment, but the professor who assigned it. Yet, ironically, they were so ignorantly impressed with your industriousness they asked you to read it out loud, and thus reveal their nonsensical-ness to the world at large (i.e., your class).

An enjoyable read, so spicy! It's no wonder they wanted it read aloud. (I know, I wouldn't like to be in front of a class reading.) You should record yourself reading of it (just an audio.) I imagine the inflections and any extra emphasis on specific words or lines will make it highly hilarious!

I do believe my voice was dripping in various substances like sarcasm, vitriol, boredom, and nervousness.
