The words aren't coming easily to me lately, either. And I want some other kind of outlet. Something to make with my hands. Something to distract my nattering brain!

Knitting or crochet is good for that. Go for it.
My daughter says crochet is easier and more forgiving than knitting--I think I'm going to try it.
She is indeed right. I’ve done a lot of crochet too, if you need any help/advice ….

Working with yarn is very relaxing (except when it goes wrong 😑)
