These are definitely poems to be proud of. I thought they were wonderful. The first was gripping with striking imagery. I loved the moment captured in the second. The third was beautiful and profound. It’s great when poems just spring from you.

Yes, agreed. You sort of just do it, without worrying too much. And when trudging up a hill you don’t have any resources to hand so it just ‘is’. There is as you say a ‘freeness’, experimentation is fun and not stressful. I’m trying to get back to it in a way. Mind you, a lot of my early stuff is also a whole bucket of pretentious cr*p 😂😂😂😂
